A special feature of the meeting in 2015 is the collaboration with the UK's Renal Association (founded in 1950, current President Professor Bruce Hendry) and the programme will reflect the distinctive flavours of nephrology where the UK has made major contributions. New European regulations mean we can no longer provide or present any musical or other entertainments at these occasions. We will then have a Welcome Ceremony that same evening - starting around 6pm on Thursday 28th May - featuring Professors Stewart Cameron and Sir John Savill followed by a reception in the ExCeL Convention Centre. There are an amazing 20 different CME Courses to choose from, many of them arising from the excellent work from the very successful ERA-EDTA working groups. The Congress starts with the CME programme, which is the first day of the Congress on Thursday 28th May 2015.
